Our Littlest Rockstar

We love to sing and dance at our house. It is usually to whatever Kylie is into at the time, right now it's Taylor Swift. We grab our hairbrushes and remote controls and sing and dance like no one is watching. Dean tapes us occasionally, not really something I need to see , but it is great for a good laugh. Last week Brooklyn came running to me right at bedtime. "Mommy, look I found a brush." I thought she wanted me to brush her hair when she put it to her mouth and started singing I am a Child of God as loud as she could dancing around the room. It's so funny to see her mimic us!

Weekend Trip to Utah

We drove to Utah over the weekend for my nieces baptism . It was so fun to see them again so soon after Texas and the Baptism was beautiful.

Kylie with her cousins.

Our Friends we always stop and see on our way home. John and Susan have been friends of Deans for over 20 years.

Their son Johnny.
We loved seeing all of you! We miss dinners and just hanging out, we have so many fun memories with all of you! We are always so sad to leave. We really miss Utah, it was such a short trip we didn't get to see everyone, we will catch everyone else we know in Utah this summer.

Trip to San Antonio

My youngest brother got married in San Antonio over Easter weekend so we made the very long drive so we could be there with them. We stayed with my brother's family in there Condo they rented, it was so big and so nice. Thanks guys! It was a very fun filled, crazy two days but I would do it again! I blogged a crazy amount of pictures. I loved seeing everyone! If anyone is crazy enough to look at all the pics (yes, there are that many~I'm wondering why I didn't do a slideshow instead!) Click on the April link and you can see them all on one page.

Jacob's and Kelsey's Reception

The reception was alot of fun, I really enjoyed just hanging out and talking to everyone. The food was so Good! They had all sorts of shishkabobs, meat, vegetable and fruit and lots of cheesecake for dessert. It was in an outdoor pavilion and It was really cold, we were expecting 80 degree weather and it was much colder and really windy but they had a fire place to warm up. I was really sad to leave. Our family keeps moving farther and farther apart so it is getting so much harder to see everyone.

Easter

We celebrated Easter early this year because of my brothers wedding in Texas. It was another one of those moments I would have liked to have frozen in time. It was a really nice night. The kids had alot of fun together. The power was out for an hour and a half. So we ate our ham dinner and hunted for eggs when it was almost dark. James used a flashlight to make sure we got them all. We were driving home from Texas on Easter Sunday, so we talked about the real meaning of Easter in the car. It was nice to have a discussion without any interuptions.

Favorite Moments

I love snuggly moments like this! It was one of those times I didn't want to move until they woke up. It was so nice to just sit there and hold them and look at them. I will be sad when litttle moments like these are gone.
