Spring Break~Spending the day in Phoenix

Since we just got back from Anaheim we had to keep spring break close to home this year. So I looked up free family activities in PHX. First, we went to the Stuffington Bear Factory where they will take you on a tour of how Stuffed animals are made. Sounds much more exciting than it was, It was a fairly wimpy tour and I think these stuffed animals must be sold to carnivals, they were lacking in the quality department. But, James and Brooklyn loved it and this stop was for them. James is getting his green bear stuffed in the picture.

Brooklyn picked a $25 piglet, I honestly never thought I would find a place that makes Build a Bear look cheap.

Nolan helping James wash his bear

Dean brushing Brooklyns piglet

James posing with his new bear named No Name. Yes, that's his actual name. It's so funny to hear him say "Has anyone seen No Name?"

Brooklyn with her piglet named Oink. We love it's really long legs.

Posing with the Giant Bear. Kylie and Nolan are saying "If we take this picture can we leave????"

Next stop Cerreta's chocolate factory

This stop was for Nolan, he loves going to the candy store in Alpine, Ut and sadly enough it is much more entertaining, this one had a video tour on the weekend because they don't make candy then. So, we all picked a couple of treats and headed to the mall to shop for Kylie (her part of the trip). It was one of those days that Dean and I thought was a little disappointing but the kids all seem to enjoy it anyway. We are so thankful that the kids get along so great, we really have fun hanging out as a family.

Sunday some friends came from Ohio to visit and have breakfast with us, I am so sad we did not think to get pictures of them and their little Olivia. Later, Dean and Brooklyn decided to make chocolate chip cookies. I love how she loves to help in the kitchen.
