Latest Craft Projects......

I saw these little Lady bug hair clips and had to try making them. Brooklyn loved them, I couldn't find the red ribbon with black dots so a friend suggested I paint them on and I think they turned out adorable. Now to make sure we have an outfit to go with the hairclip......that's the fun part!

A friend had a hairbow/flower party. There were 17 of us, we each had to bring the stuff for everyone to create a hair clip.

My examples. The yellow one has a blue with white polkadot center, it's hard to see. It was a fun party and fun to get all those hair clips.

January's Craft Clubs project I hadn't posted yet. So easy to make and the kids no longer ask me "What's for dinner?" a hundred times. I wish I had made one years ago!
~My sister asked how to make it. This one is just a $3 8x10 walmart picture frame. Use some fun scrapbook paper and you write on the glass with a dry erase marker.
Febuary's Craft Club project~A fun board to hang all those hair clips on, I made two. I haven't decided how to hang the other one yet. (straighter than this one)

The Wonderful World of Disney 2010

Dean had a conference in Anaheim so the kids and I tagged along and went to Disney for 3 days. We had a surprise snow the night before we left. Our neighbor plowed our entire street so we could get out. We had so much fun and I took way too many pictures, so I decided to focus mostly on the ones with all the smiles!

Aunt Sally and Tori joined us

Dean took a vacation day monday so he could spend one day with us

Waiting for the bus, we were just as excited as the kids!

Jungle cruise~Our first ride of the day

We are here!

Let the fun begin.....

James and Brooklyn LOVED meeting all the characters and getting their books signed

Smile Girls!

Love you Sally!

While we were waiting to see Minnie Mouse~Brooks absolute Disney favorite, she just plopped down and started "signing" her own book.

Tori in her stylin "Little Miss Matched" socks

Our little Star Wars nuts

Aunt Sally told Brooklyn she could buy something while they were waiting for us so what does she buy? A great big spider. Hilarious, all other little girls were carrying stuffed animals and princess dolls and her is my little sweet girl carrying a spider. It is still a favorite!

Nice face Tori!

One of my favorite things about Disney is getting to spend afew minutes alone with all the kids on rides.

Aunt Sally, Kylie and James waiting for the Crush show(Crush interacts with the audience). James asked Crush where turtles slept? so Crush answered and asked James where Jamaica James boys sleep? James was giggling at his new name and answered "I sleep in a one bed". So funny.

This is whats its all about.....

Those happy, carefree...Giggles.

And the belly laugh...

The joy in meeting a princess that was sure James was a really strong, handsome prince....

bonding with an Aunt we don't get to see very often....

snuggling on rides with mom.....

Posing for lots of pics....

skipping and holding hands and more giggling....

Getting to hang out with Tori and as a family!

I took Brooklyn and James the last day and just did what they wanted to do, no waiting for big people. We had so much fun....

It was absolutely Magical!

I didn't get nearly as many pics of my big kids but they were having way to much fun on their rides. And me following them with my camera is really not a highlight of their day.

To end our trip we watched the new parade, It has a street party theme so all the kids get to dance in the street. Nolan took Brooklyn out to dance.

The perfect ending to our trip? We stopped at Newport Beach on our way home.

A quick walk on the Pier

Love these boys...

We both love the beach, listening to the waves is my favorite

This little girl loves the beach as much as I do

Our boy in his Spiderman glasses

Nolan cracks us up, he loves it more than anyone

Kylie girl

What do you use when you didn't bring any sand toys? Last nights Disney popcorn bucket and a fast food plastic spoon....They couldn't have been happier.

I just love this guy and I am so happy he let us crash his trip. I am sure it could have much more relaxing without us but we all had a blast.

A whole Snow Week~We Loved Every Minute of it!

We are so grateful for our neighbor with a big snowblower!

It really was not as much fun as it looked. At 40 your body seems to feel every little bump.

Wipe Out!!! (James)

No, Dean is not kneeling

I can't remember the last time I saw this much snow. It was incredible! School was closed for the whole week. Dean's work even shut down. It was so fun to get to be together for a whole week as just a family. It is so relaxing when you know you can't go anywhere. At the end of the week when we could finally get out we went sledding and to dinner.

Our view out our front door and we got even more snow after this pic was taken. I am sure we will be seeing snow till Summer!
