Campout

James and Brooklyn planned this campout three weeks in a row, they were all excited all week (every time), they planned what to eat and what games they would play and every week it looked like this. James and Brooklyn asleep outside the tent several hours before their planned sleeptime.

and their tent filled with all their plans empty......I love their excitement for the little things in life!

First Scout Campout

Being Boys, Nolan and Henry

Nolan was so excited for his first campout and everyone knows we are not a camping family, so we were excited at his enthusiasm and we look forward to seeing all the ways he will grow in Scouts. Nolan with friend Connor.

Last swimming class

Nolan graduated from swimming this year, our kids are always ready to be done with swim lessons by about 10, however we decided it was an imprtant skill so we make them go through till they finish all the red cross lessons. Nolan had just turned 12 and he finshed his last class! He was so excited to be done.

Harry Potter Fans

Kylie and her friend Amanda met several other friends for the midnight showing of the last Harry Potter Movie. Amanda's birthday happened to be on the first release date and Kylie's the second for part 2. So these parties were planned way in advance.

They all dressed up, it was fun to see how excited they were and they waited from 4 am to see the midnight movie. But, it was worth it to them because they got awesome seats.

#1 Dad

Happy Father's Day to an amazing Dad!

I love Dean's relationship with our kids, most of what we do is about them (we so sneak off occasionally for just us). He was older when we got married so to have an instant family with Kylie and then to have more kids, he is the happiest man alive. He is always thoughtful towards them and their moods, his parenting style is to make everyone laugh and he is amazing at it. Our kids are truly blessed to call him dad. Happy Father's Day Dean!

Two Wheeling James

James so excited that he now two wheels like Nolan

Yeah James! He now gets to pick out a new bigger bike.

Wahoo! Schools out for Summer!

Last trip home on the bus for Nolan

Yeah! Freedom!
