The Great Urban Race Phoenix~March 12, 2011

Heidi and Tiana busy working on their clues, each of our teams took 4.

The Great Urban Race is a mini race like the Amazing race. They pass out envelopes that are sealed with all of your clues, everyone opens them all at once and begins to decipher them. You are allowed to have people waiting on computers to help you and you can use your cell phones. No cars or cabs are allowed but you can take the bus.

lovely, I am always so photogenic=)

Dean and I~this was a really fun race, we would all love to do another one.
We did so many more things than I even got pictures of. We made puppets using three diff mediums. We smelled tea and had to guess what kind they were. we had to use scrabble squares and put together words. We had to buy supplies and take them to a Ronald McDonald house and I am sure I am forgetting afew things.

January Swimming Lessons

Two cute girls. I love how much fun these two have together. They loved having swim lessons together, it will be fun to do it again next year.

Airsoft

Nolan started airsofting with some friends and it has been a great experience for him. It's fun to see him try something new and love it.

I accidently deleted this pic from Wicked Post

We got to the Melting Pot late, we didn't even have time for desert. So we were all a little stressed as we left to go see the show. As we pulled into the parking Garage we had 15 min to park and find the theatre. Brian let us all out and we ran, literally, in our heels and dresses trying to make it in before they closed the door. As we were running I turned to see where Dean was, I kind of stumbled and I thought I had regained my balance when I felt myself falling, it was the most slow motion fall ever. Dean said it looked like I was doing it on purpose but I was on the edge of a wheelchair ramp on the sidewalk and couldn't stop myself. I rolled over my shoulder and onto my head before I fianlly could stop myself. Of course as if my pride wasn't wounded enough my legs were completely spread eagle by the time I stopped. I am sure people who passed by wondered when bloomers came back in. I jumped up and we made it, barely but we made it. We were worried Brian wouldn't make it but he ran in just after us. I had to laugh as I sat to watch the show, my knee was burning. I got a tissue with some water to dab it but I felt like I was in grade school all over again.

Wicked in Tuscon

Our husbands all bought us Wicked tickets for Christmas. It was supposed to be a suprise. Heidi's husband Brian came up with the idea. Heidi found a Wicked calender in her husbands truck, so she fugured it out pretty fast. Tiana decided she wanted to take her sister for Christmas, Travis kept trying to talk her out of it.........we all know how that went. He finally told her. Dean told me from the beginning, since he was going way over the budget for our gifts for each other. It was not the suprise it was intended to be but it was a great gift and a really fun weekend.

picking out dresses was fun, we all went to Ross and and tried on piles of dresses. Tiana tossed one over to Heidi and it got stuck on the sprinkler system so we were all jumping in heels trying to get it off with a hanger. Just on of those fun memories.....

Sexy....

Picture Perfect...

A weekend with husbands and girlfriends.....Priceless!

Our Girl and her Guitar

Kylie loves to play her guitar. That is something I really love about her. She knows who she is and the things she loves. Writing and her guitar are the two things that really define her.

Ashely come's to visit....

Ashley's mom and I were roomates at Ricks college. We went to see them in WA last summer and Kylie and ashley were instant friends. Ashley wanted to come see Kylie for her 16th birthday present. Anyone that comes to see us gets a trip to the Grand canyon....so cold this time of year!

These two couldn't be any more alike!
